A: Providing your volume requirements are sufficient, we will do it the same day. However, normally a colour match will take around a week to complete.
A: A polymer specific masterbatch will introduce a minimum amount of ‘foreign’ material into your polymer for sensitive applications.
A: Yes. A combination masterbatch may provide colourant, UV stabilisation and antistatic properties for example.
A: Nobody guarantees that colours will never fade! However providing that you tell us that good light fastness is a requirement we will use top quality pigments and dyes to provide the colour with excellent light fast properties.
A: We can usually achieve your required colour in most circumstances. However, if we cannot achieve the right colour within our laboratories, then we may have to discuss variations to your requirements.
A: If you plan to colour less than 1 tonne of material and you are using extrusion, injection or blow moulding, then it may be more economical to use dry colorant. It is particularly efficient for transparent effects. If you are doing rotational moulding, then masterbatch is not possible due to the lack of mixing shear in the process.
A: This is a light mineral oil which is distributed on the surface of the polymer granules prior to adding the colour. It makes the dry colouring process cleaner.
A: We have a minimum order of 10kg for stock Masterbatch colours, 2kgs for Dry Colour and 25kgs for Masterbatch made to order.
Our experienced team creates vibrant colours in plastic products. We use advanced technology to deliver brilliant colour accuracy for masterbatches and dry pigment blends.
